The primary trailer for Matthew Vaughn’s spy drama Argylle dropped Thursday morning, and within the clip, we see extra of the director’s trademark slick motion and extra of Henry Cavill’s disconcerting haircut.
The trailer gives extra clues as to the plot of Argylle. We study that Argylle (Cavill) is a fictional tremendous spy dreamed up by introverted author Elly Conway (Bryce Dallas Howard), whose life is turned the other way up when her new e book is a bit too near the reality for some real-life spies who start to hunt her down. Oh, and her cat is alongside for the journey.
The Apple Authentic Movie/Common pic is acquainted territory for Vaughn, together with his final three movies, the Kingsman trilogy, all going down within the spy style and all that includes his irreverent humorousness.
Argylle‘s all-star forged consists of Cavill, Howard, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, John Cena, Dua Lipa, Ariana DeBose, Samuel L. Jackson and Dua Lipa. The movie is Brit music celebrity Lipa’s second characteristic, after she made her debut, alongside Cena, in Barbie.
The script is written by Jason Fuchs and the movie is produced by Cloudy Productions and Vaughn’s common collaborators Adam Bohling and David Reid, in addition to Fuchs. Zygi Kamasa, Carlos Peres, Claudia Vaughn and Adam Fishbach function govt producers.
Argylle hits theaters Feb. 2, 2024 and releases on Apple TV+ at a later date.
