It’s estimated that there are about 18,000 asylum seekers from Eritrea in Israel, most of whom arrived illegally years in the past by crossing Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula. They stated they fled hazard, persecution and obligatory navy conscription in one of many world’s most repressive international locations.
