On 6 February, a devastating earthquake ripped via south-eastern Turkey and northern Syria, killing greater than 44,000 individuals. Simply after the devastating quake hit Jindayris, Afraa’s mom went into labour and gave delivery beneath the rubble of her residence. She died earlier than rescuers discovered them. Child Afraa was the one member of her fast household to outlive – her father, Abu Rudaina, and her 4 siblings died, alongside together with her mom.
