A 29-year-old Greek fan has died after in a single day clashes between rival supporters in Athens, inflicting UEFA to postpone a Champions League qualifying recreation scheduled for Tuesday due to the violence.
After the fan’s loss of life, Greek authorities had requested that each one supporters must be excluded from the match between AEK Athens and Croatia’s Dinamo Zagreb on the Opap Area.
Dinamo followers have been formally already excluded underneath a earlier ruling by UEFA.
Eight followers have been injured whereas Greek police stated Tuesday they’d made 88 arrests, principally of Croatian supporters.
UEFA says what was going to be the second leg in Zagreb subsequent Wednesday will now be the primary leg. The second leg can be held in Athens on Aug. 18 or Aug. 19.
